México 2017
Cup of Excellence: The winning lots are coffees scoring 86 points and above in each cupping by both the National Jury and the Cup of Excellence International Jury. These coffees have each been cupped at a minimum of five different times during the cupping process. The lot size indicates the number of 30kg boxes. Each box contains two 15kg vacuum packed bags. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that while transporting lots from the warehouse to the warehouse in Veracruz, the driver was ambushed on the road and forced from the truck. The truck and the container of eight winning coffee lots were stolen. He was not hurt and walked to the nearest town to call police. The lots stolen are: COE Lot # 5, # 9, # 11, # 19, # 20 and # 26, # 32 and # 33 of the National Winners. As a result, the coffees which were stolen will not be included in the Mexico COE. However, The winning lots will remain listed on the ACE website to bring visibility to the winning farmers who produced those lots. Ace offers our condolences to the farmers whose coffee were taken. Interested buyers may reach out to the farmers whose lots were stolen to inquire about other coffees which may be available from the farmer although these coffees are not COE.
National Winners: The winning lots are coffees scoring 84-85.99 points by both the National Jury and the Cup of Excellence International Jury. The lots stolen are: COE Lot #5, #9, #11, #19, #20 and #26, #32 and #33 of the National Winners. As a result, the coffees which were stolen will not be included in the Mexico COE. However, the winning lots will remain listed on the ACE website to bring visibility to the winning farmers who produced those lots
