Our Mission

Cup of Excellence (CoE) has been improving the lives of award-winning farmers since 1999. It supports and rewards exceptional farmers through its competition program and educational events.

CoE has helped the marketplace access rare, award-winning handcrafted coffees, rewarded thousands of coffee farmers with extra premiums, and has helped build long-lasting sustainable relationships and economic development for farmers and roasters.

For decades its educational programs have given global coffee roasters a more advanced knowledge of unique and valuable coffees.

Your donation to the Cup of Excellence program is fully tax-deductible under U.S. federal law. After donating, save your confirmation email — that’s your official receipt.

For donations over $250, the IRS requires a written acknowledgment from COE. Your confirmation email qualifies.
