Angel began producing coffee in a small farm of 1/8 hectares given him by his father in the community of San Matias, department of La Paz. Married and with two sons and seen in the coffee an opportunity to improve the lives of their family and leave a legacy for the future, with great effort could expand his production unit about a hectare and named his farm Las Moras.
With the guidance of technicians of IHCAFE, he has managed to maintain his property in good condition and achieve the honorable 7th place in the event of COE. His farm is at an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level, it has planted the variety Catuai, and he makes two fertilizations without neglecting the incorporation of organic fertilizers produced from the coffee pulp.
Angel Daniel says that the road to quality begins in the farm picking just ripe cherries and milling the same day, and wash properly before to put in solar dryers.
His dream is to build a school in his community, since the past 2 years he offering his home as a school that serve 23 children in primary and 7 children in kindergarten, they have a volunteer teacher.
