My name is GINO MARIN CIRIACO, i am 42 years old, i am and agricultural engineer; i am highly
passionate for the coffee production, now i own a 13 has. farm located inside a communal
native area YANESHA PALOMAR. The farm names is o´sopen which i manage for about 5 years,
the name means the Hill of clouds because it is located between 1600 and 1750msl with a very
specific microclimate, cold with high cloudiness at night and part of the morning. I was born
and grown with coffee, even did my studies in coffee.
The areas where the coffee is growing are located and are part of a system of native and exotic
forest.
Participating in cup of excellence was inspired by my family together with many other families
from Yanesha in order to make everyone know the quality of the coffee we produce the the
centric areas of Peru. This is one of those destinies to know, discover and falling inlove with
this area of producers of specialty coffees.
