Israel is a third generation coffee producer, his desire to produce high quality coffees started when he discovered the Gesha variety which allowed him to better understand the specialty coffee world at the production level and the higher income it could bring to his farm.
Knowing the potential his Gesha coffee had, Israel decided to participate for the first time in this contest getting great results!
Israel explains that producing high quality coffees is worth the effort as he is being able to validate the quality of his work with his clients.
The pandemic has forced him to work with less people than usual making him feel also vulnerable for not being able to go out from his farm as he normally does.
