History Finca el Palmar
Finca “El Palmar”, Owner Mr. Reynaldo Ortéz Ortéz, Its name originates from its location and characteristics of the place: Located at zero, the palm grove which is covered by vegetation of palms, pines and guabas, El Palmar in turn located in the Natural Reserve of Cordillera Dipilto and Jalapa, neighbor of the southern side of the highest peak of Nicaragua el Mogotón. Two varieties of coffee are grown on the farm: Catimor and Catuaí, the total area is 55 hectares of these, 28 hectares are in production, annually producing 500 qq of coffee gold annually.
With an average height of 1200 to 1600 meters above sea level, so it has a pleasant climate with average temperatures of 15 ° C
