The farm SANTA SOFIA is located at 1830slm in the populated center of SAN JUAN DE PUEBLO LIBRE, district of PANGOA, province of SATIPO, region of JUNIN. I did buy it in the year 1987 back then it only was 2 hectares and together with my family we have been producing coffee. Nowadays it is our source of income.
From the year 1987 until now I focused on the production of coffee. At the beginning it was empiric, but everything changed from the year 2005 when I started training and learning more about the new technics in the production of coffee and how to obtain a better-quality coffee. Also, this last 15 years I have received assistance from the associations and government technicians, in the farm we are producing 2ha. Of the varieties CATURRA and BOURBON. The coffees we are producing now are specialty organic quality, and now I can show my work and effort in the competition of CUP OF EXCELLENCE.
