We are producers in the Tarrazú area. Our coffee is characterized by the inheritance and experience of almost forty years of the Zamora Picado family in the coffee business.
In 2014 La Cruz de Tarrazú Micro-Mill was born as a family business. La Cruz, as buyers call us, represents the passion and effort to produce and process coffee, with the main objective that our coffees can be enjoyed by those who appreciate quality and social responsibility.
We are a family of five members who work together with the aim of turning this venture into a sustainable activity.
Since the beginning, our coffees have been appreciated and in 2017 we participated for the first time in the Cup of Excellence competition and Finca El Pino placed as national winner.
Last year Finca El Pino placed #7 in COE 2019 and Finca El Encino placed #13 COE 2019.
This year, and thanks to four years of work in the honey and natural processes, the El Pino and El Encino farms were located in the best forty cafes in Costa Rica. We are very excited about what this achievement can mean for us in the future. Each seed of these lots represents the passion and effort of La Cruz de Tarrazú Micro-Mill to bring you the best of our 2020 harvest.
