History of the farm:
Nossa Senhora do Carmo belongs to a family culture where high-quality coffees are grown and have won several contests. Located in Mantiqueira de Minas, the Nossa Senhora do Carmo farm has worked on improving its coffees for many years, seeking excellence in the production of specialty coffees. The property is part of Grupo Café do Cedro, with coffee areas from 900 to 1350 meters of elevation, continuing the work of past generation that came to the region in search of the best terroir in Brazil to produce specialty coffees.
Grupo Café Cedro seeks to bring its clients all the diversity of aromas and flavors that this region offers with constant improvement in cultural practices, environmental protection, management, adequate handling of its crops and final processing of its product. We are firmly committed to bringing the best products from this region, where the best coffees in Brazil are produced, to our consumers’ cups.
Concern about quality:
Our Café do Cedro group has a great environmental concern, having reserves along springs and also remaining forests on the properties of the group. And in relation to the workers, they are trained on applying pesticides and also supplied with safety equipment with which to apply it, the packaging is washed and disposed of through a triple-washing process, and they are returned to the competent bodies.
