| | | MIRELLA The family Chacón Cubillo has its farm in the zone of Los Angeles de Sabanilla in Alajuela (Central Valley Region), in the fertile bottom of Poás Volcano. In a rich ground full of nutrients at 1300 m and 1500 m above the sea level, the farm has a total area seeded of 50 hectares. On this farm the traditional agriculture is practiced, by means of application of organic materials for the fertilization, taking advantage from the own farm resources, besides of the community and the region. The coffee is dried in African beds, patios and greenhouses having used solar energy to decrease therefore the consumption of other power systems. | |
