| History
I have been living in the farm since 1990, the members
of my family are my husband and 8 children. Her husband and her oldest son
have received training in the Manuel Mejía Foundation in Chinchiná Caldas.
All the members of the family help in the labors of the farm
Environmental Care
The farm is located in the slopes of the Western Mountain
Range of Colombia, this is a very rich area, where several rivers born.
For that reason, they are conxious of the preservation of the forest and
water sources. They don't burn the land and they don't apply chemical products
for controlling the broca.
Coffee Processing Information
Once the cherries are totally red, we pick them from
the tree. Coffee is depulped the same night and the next day is washed,
we use parabolic devices in the drying process.
